In December 2025, in the spirit of holiday giving and togetherness, Gotes proudly took part as a donor in a series of creative workshops organized in cooperation with Društvo Naša Djeca Sveti Ivan Zelina (Our Children Society of Sveti Ivan Zelina).
During the period from November 29 to December 21, 2025, a total of around ten workshops were held for children, with the aim of encouraging creativity, shared creation, and celebrating the holiday season in a warm and educational way.
Holiday Gift and a New Production Project
These workshops held special significance for us. In addition to marking them as a holiday gift to the community, we also used the opportunity to test one of our new production projects.
Using our honey cake pastry sheets, which are part of our standard product range, we created honey cookies – the popular “Gingerbread Man” cookies. They served as an ideal base for decorating workshops, where children used edible colors and decorative elements, turning each cookie into a small, unique work of art.
Focus on Traditional Products
Alongside the honey pastry sheets, we also included mlinci and pasta in the workshops. However, the main focus was placed on:
-
honey cake pastry sheets
-
mlinci, as products that carry a strong connection to tradition and home-style cuisine
In this way, we introduced children not only to the process of creative making, but also to the value of traditional food products, their uses, and their importance in everyday life.
Gratitude and Looking Ahead
We would like to thank Društvo Naša Djeca Sveti Ivan Zelina for their cooperation, organization, and warm welcome, as well as all workshop participants who made these gatherings truly special with their smiles and creativity.
At Gotes, we believe that social responsibility, tradition, and innovation can — and should — go hand in hand. This project serves as additional motivation for us to continue supporting initiatives that connect community, creativity, and local products.
