INGREDIENTS
- 4 Egg Yolks
- 70g Sugar
- 25g White Flour
- 4 Tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
- 280ml Milk
- 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 Grated Lemon Zest
- Juice of 1 Whole Lemon
- 100g Plum Jam
- Honey Bark
PREPARATION
STEP 1
Mix the egg yolks and sugar for 5 minutes until the mixture is lighter in color. Then add the flour and mix gently.
STEP 2
In another bowl, heat the milk and vanilla and stir until it boils. Add the resulting mixture to the egg yolk and sugar mixture. Return everything to the heat and stir until the mixture thickens. When the resulting mixture is removed from the heat, add the grated lemon zest and lemon juice and leave to cool together.
STEP 3
Prepare the base and place the honeycomb crusts, spread a layer of yellow cream on it, place the crust, spread the plum jam, place the crust, spread the remaining yellow cream and finally place the last sheet of crust.
STEP 4
Let the cake stand for at least 4-6 hours. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving and enjoy.
